WHAT TO EXPECT

Walking

On a self-guided hike you're free to enjoy the walks and scenery at your own pace; just let us know where you'd like to walk and we can arrange an itinerary to suit the distance you wish to walk each day.

We can advise you on the ease/difficulty of certain sections, organise rest days and suggest places of interest along the route.

We'll provide you with detailed notes, directions and maps to help you navigate the walk and to find your accommodation. We can also advise on where to stop each day and where to eat en-route. And we can help arrange taxi transfers at the start and end of your hike.

Comfortable accommodation

You'll stay in hand-picked guesthouses, pubs with rooms or small hotels. They are well suited to hikers, located close to the trail and offering comfortable accommodation with a good breakfast.

At some more remote locations the choice can be limited and may include a short transfer from the path; in bigger resorts a choice of up-graded accommodation with more facilities can be arranged at additional cost, subject to availability.

Luggage transfers

To help ease the load, we can transfer your luggage between overnight stays. Simply leave your bags at your accommodation in the morning before you set off, and we will deliver them to your next stop by late afternoon.

Local support

We are on hand to answer any questions you may have during your stay in our region, from last minute changes, to welcoming you on arrival, to resolving any problems on walking days.
